The Yakima HoldUp EVO is the upgraded version of the best selling
HoldUp, one of the strongest, most versatile, and best designed bike racks available. This new version has been redesigned with an easy access KickStart foot pedal tilt mechanism which makes lowering and raising the rack a cinch, even with bikes loaded. It also features Yakima's SpeedKnob for mounting the rack to your hitch, again making the job even easier than before. The original HoldUp is one of the best choices available, the HoldUp EVO adds to an already great design to give those who want just a bit more from their carrier what they're looking for.It comes with tray adjustability, meaning less bike-to-bike interference. Plus its StrongArm system allows for no frame contact when securing your bikes, making it a great choice for carbon frame bikes or anyone who has concerns about damage in transit. It's also quite a good looking bike carrier, with nice finishes and high-quality materials.
Out of the box the HoldUp EVO carries two bikes, and it can be extended to accommodate four bikes with the optional HoldUp EVO +2.
Versatility is definitely also a strong point, it takes nearly all bikes with 20inch to 29inch wheels and almost any size or shape of frame. It has moveable trays to adjust bike positions, and the StrongArm design also avoids any frame contact by securing just the front wheel. Maximum weight limit is 23kgs per bike, with a maximum wheelbase of 122cm, and 4.8 inch maximum tyre width. The impressive weight capacity also makes the HoldUp EVO capable of carrying E-bikes under 23kg, if your bike is heavier please see the original HoldUp, which has a higher weight capacity of 27kg per bike.
The HoldUp EVO folds flat against your vehicle when not in use so it's out of the way, allowing you to leave it on your car if you're planning to go biking again in the near future. Plus it comes with integrated locks for both the carrier and bikes, which can be matched to other Yakima products for single key convenience. The 81cm cable locks for your bikes also retract neatly into the carrier after use. You can key alike your Yakima products by purchasing lock cores separately. It comes out of the box requiring very minimal assembly so you can be out on the trails even quicker, installation is about a 25 minute job and all necessary tools are included. Please refer to the fitting instructions for further details.
This new version is more expensive than its predecessor, yet we think it's worth the money, the improvements make one of the best quality and strongest racks available even better, plus it's covered by Yakima's lifetime warranty.

There are no deliveries made on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays by our couriers.
Typically, We will despatch orders the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will generally be despatched the following work day which would be Monday of the following or the next working day. Orders placed 1 day prior or on the same day as a public holiday will be despatched the next working day.
No retailer or courier company can ever "guarantee" a next working day delivery.
All courier companies occasionally have the same transport problems that can happen to everyone, inclusive of but not limited to: snow blocked roads, closed roads, traffic jams, mechanical breakdown, an inability to find the delivery address or to gain access to it if, for example, it's in a block of flats. We work with some of the best couriers in the business, and overall they provide an outstanding service.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any delay caused by the failure of our contracted couriers to fulfil their obligations, although we will always do all that is reasonable to provide the goods by the time required. Please also note that the percentage of delayed deliveries is very small, and the percentage of items lost in transit is all but non-existent.
