The BackRoad is one of the easiest ways to carry up to 4 bikes, loading is a cinch with Yakima's zip strips, it tilts so you can access the rear of your vehicle, and features ample 17.5cm spacing between bikes and anti-sway cradles that can adjust slightly to fit your bikes better on the rack. A cable lock is also included to secure your bikes to the rack and it even has an integrated bottle opener to easily pop open a cold drink after a long day.
The per bike Bike weight limit is 17kg so most types of standard bicycles can be carried. If your bike has an unusual frame design or is a step-through style frame you may need the Yakima TubeTop to allow your bike to be carried on this rack.
The bike cradles are padded and feature side to side rotation adjustability so you can get just the right fit for your bike and anti-sway design ensures no bike to bike contact. Please note that we don't recommend this carrier for those who have carbon frame bikes or other sensitive finishes as they may be rubbed during transit.
This carrier has a tilt function so you can still access your vehicle when it is fitted and the arms fold down when not in use, so they're out of the way.
Installation is an easy 5min task for one person as there is very little assembly involved and the rack's low 16.3kg weight makes it possible for most people to handle it solo. This carrier will also fit both 1.25in (32mm) and 2in (50mm) hitch receiver sizes. Please refer to the instructions for more details on installation.

There are no deliveries made on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays by our couriers.
Typically, We will despatch orders the next working day. Orders placed on Friday will generally be despatched the following work day which would be Monday of the following or the next working day. Orders placed 1 day prior or on the same day as a public holiday will be despatched the next working day.
No retailer or courier company can ever "guarantee" a next working day delivery.
All courier companies occasionally have the same transport problems that can happen to everyone, inclusive of but not limited to: snow blocked roads, closed roads, traffic jams, mechanical breakdown, an inability to find the delivery address or to gain access to it if, for example, it's in a block of flats. We work with some of the best couriers in the business, and overall they provide an outstanding service.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any delay caused by the failure of our contracted couriers to fulfil their obligations, although we will always do all that is reasonable to provide the goods by the time required. Please also note that the percentage of delayed deliveries is very small, and the percentage of items lost in transit is all but non-existent.
